Downtown Los Angeles Nightscape in HDR

For the last several months I've been keeping my eyes open for a good HDR (High Dynamic Range) shot. I made a few attempts at Space Needle and one or two before I left San Diego, but never really captured anything that I felt made good use of the technique.

While on my roof a few weeks back shooting with a friend, I noticed the nightscape and decided to capture it in HDR. Unfortunately on that night, I'd left the ISO at 800 and the photo came out grainy and unusable. I'd forgotten about the idea for a while and it came back a few nights ago after taking a bunch of night shots at Anime Los Angeles. So I headed up to the roof a couple nights back and here are the results.
