Taken at Phoenix Comicon. This would be my favorite shot from the convention, simply because of the way the lighting highlights Ashley's shoulder blades.

Great stuff Mike! Love the light as well, composition works well. My only irk is it's a bit to hot on her face for me, you lose a bit of detail.

Another keeper from that set would definitely be the poison ivy in the tree... man could be a cover of a magazine very nice, everything in that work just comes together. Also the Kallen and Perona profile shots near the water are killer, great set all around.

No HDR. I had two friends help me with this shot...one on each side holding flashes at a high angle. Both were synched via radio transmitter. Not much more than that. You can see the settings I chose below the photo itself. A tiny bit of post-processing...mainly brightening a bit in the shadows and some saturation in the blues. :)

Fanime is a maybe. :S It will depend on how things are financially, who I can scam a ride with and who will let me crash with them cheap! If I go, I'll let you know! :D

Thanks! Actually it's just the size of the photo. At 100% I can see the fine hairs on her cheeks. :D

I usually post 2 or 3 from a con when I have this many final images. Poison Ivy might be the other one I post. It was between those 2 and another shot last night when I was determining which to post. The Nami shot just has that little extra.

BTW...what's the next con I'll see you at?
